The Thermal Grizzly identity combines its wordmark with a stylized grizzly bear symbol, giving the brand a strong visual connection to its name and performance-focused positioning. The emblem is widely used across the company’s thermal compounds, cooling hardware, packaging and digital channels.

Unlike many long-established technology brands, Thermal Grizzly has no widely documented series of major logo redesigns. The company continues to provide its familiar logo through its official media downloads, and no individual designer or design agency has been publicly credited for the current identity.

Thermal Grizzly was founded in Hamburg in 2013 by Wolf Eike Salow. Its first thermal paste reached the market in 2015 after Salow began working with extreme overclocker Roman Hartung, better known as der8auer, on product development. The two later combined their businesses under Thermal Grizzly Holding GmbH in 2020, expanding the brand beyond thermal compounds into cooling hardware and other performance PC products.
