Which SF Pro Font Should You Download?

SF Pro Variable vs Static Fonts
Traditional static font packages use separate files for weights such as Light, Regular, Medium, Semibold and Bold. A variable font can store a continuous range of variations within a smaller number of files. This makes SF Pro Variable useful in modern design applications where designers want finer control over typography.
The static SF Pro Display and SF Pro Text files can still be useful when working with older software or when a project requires clearly separated font files. The best option depends on the application and workflow rather than one format being universally better.
