Orlando Magic introduced its current logo on June 3, 2025, bringing back several elements associated with the team’s original 1989 identity. The redesign restores a stronger focus on the stars, including the cascading star trail and the star-shaped “A” in the Orlando and Magic wordmarks, while retaining the team’s blue, black and silver color palette.
The original Orlando Magic identity was created by Doug Minear and his Orlando agency, The Advertising Works. Minear was responsible not only for the early logo and uniforms but also for Stuff, the team’s mascot. The 2025 update deliberately draws on that original era rather than replacing it with an entirely new visual direction.
