Great Vibes Font Free Download
Download Great Vibes in TTF format — the flowing calligraphic script that has quietly become one of the most-used wedding and invitation fonts on the web. This package includes the Regular style, the single weight the typeface was designed around.
Great Vibes is a connected script with graceful curves, dramatic swashes, and a refined copperplate-inspired look. It’s a natural fit for wedding invitations, greeting cards, signature-style logos, boutique branding, packaging, romantic posters, and any design that needs a touch of formal elegance without a paid font license.

The Designer Behind the Font
Great Vibes was designed by Robert E. Leuschke and released through his foundry TypeSETit in 2012. Leuschke’s background explains a lot about why the font feels the way it does: he started as a lettering artist at Hallmark Cards in the 1980s, hand-drawing the kind of flowing, sentimental scripts that greeting cards are built on, before going freelance and eventually founding TypeSETit in 2004. He has created over 250 typefaces since, most of them scripts — and that Hallmark-trained instinct for warm, celebratory lettering runs straight through Great Vibes.
The design draws on copperplate calligraphy and formal handwriting traditions, but with a deliberate twist: the lowercase letters are formal and precisely connected, while the uppercase forms are looser and more casual, full of sweeping flourishes. That contrast is what keeps Great Vibes from feeling stiff — it reads as elegant without tipping into old-fashioned.
What Makes It Work
Under the hood, Great Vibes carries over 2,000 glyphs — smooth connecting ligatures, alternate characters, and the swash details that make each word set in it look hand-lettered rather than typed. Every letter is drawn to connect seamlessly with the next, which is harder than it sounds in a script font; poorly built connections are usually what separate cheap-looking scripts from convincing ones. A March 2024 update expanded the character set further with Sub-Saharan Latin and Cyrillic support, alongside the Vietnamese and extended Latin coverage it already had.
Like most connected scripts, Great Vibes is a display face at heart. It shines at large sizes — invitation headings, logo lockups, quote graphics — and loses its detail quickly when set small or in long passages. Pair it with a clean sans-serif or a quiet serif for supporting text, and let the script do only the headline work.
