The current Ankara Patent identity combines a compact geometric symbol with a two-line wordmark. The blue emblem is built from overlapping, interconnected forms, while the black “ankara patent” lettering keeps the company name clear and prominent. The design replaced an earlier identity that relied primarily on a turquoise stacked wordmark.

The interconnected symbol fits closely with Ankara Patent’s field of work, where patents, trademarks, designs and other intellectual property rights connect legal protection with technology, business and commercial value. The company has not publicly identified an individual designer or design agency for the current logo.

Ankara Patent was founded in 1964 by Hayri Dericioğlu, who set out to raise awareness of intellectual property among Turkey’s emerging industrial companies. His sons Mehmet Kaan Dericioğlu and Emin Korhan Dericioğlu later continued the business, and the firm is now carried forward by the third generation. Over the decades, Ankara Patent expanded from patent and trademark registration services into broader intellectual property strategy, prosecution, monitoring, dispute management and intellectual capital consultancy.
